“IntegrAction – Action for socio-economic integration of refugees and asylum seekers” project is elaborated by ANOLF Marche in collaboration with KMOP (GR), IED (GR), Learnmera (FI), and Job4Refugees (DE) in order to promote the social and economic inclusion of the refugees and asylum seekers (project target) in the local context of reception.
The project, part of the Erasmus + Call 2019 program – KA2 Strategic Partnerships for Innovation – Adult Education Sector entitled: Action for socio-economic integration of refugees and asylum seekers, started in October 2019 for a duration of 30 months.
Monday 13 January from 09.30 to 18.00 and Tuesday 14 January from 09.30 to 13.00 the first strategic partnership meeting was conducted in Ancona at the headquarters of Cisl Marche with the participation of members of the parties involved. The general objective of the IntegrAction project is to contribute to the social and economic inclusion of migrants, refugees and asylum seekers (project target groups) in the local context of reception.
The Specific Objectives are:
- SO1. Improve the linguistic competences of refugees and asylum seekers in order to promote the process of socio-economic integration.
- SO2. Increase the employability of immigrants through the strengthening of socio-professional and SO2.entrepreneurship competences aimed at job placement, active job search and self-employment.
- SO3. Develop social and intercultural competences in immigrants stimulating their active participation in the local communities through mutual understanding initiatives.
During the event, all the organizations had the chance to know in details the background and role in the project of each partner as well as to define a clear action plan for the coming semester. The Management Board Team composed by the project heads of each organization was also established. The kickoff event of the project will be followed by 5 transnational meetings which will touch the European countries which host the associations involved. The upcoming event will be held in Athens during the first week of June, hosted by KMOP.”
